Privacy

Who are we?

Robarcko respects the privacy of all visitors to its website and treats your personal data confidentially. By means of this privacy statement we inform you about the use of your personal data by Robarcko.

Robarcko is convinced that the protection of and regard for the privacy of its stakeholders (such as employees, clients, debtors and other relations) is of major importance. Personal data is treated with the greatest possible care.

We cannot conduct our business without processing certain personal data. We consider it important that personal data is processed in a manner that is in accordance with the existing safeguards for the protection of privacy. In this we follow the existing legal rules for the protection of personal data, i.e. the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Robarcko complies with this Regulation in all cases.

What is personal data and what is “processing”?

Personal data is any information that we may associate with you. Think of your name, your phone number or your email address. But also, for example, the IP address of your computer. It concerns data that can be traced back to you as a person.

Processing is a legal concept. It is also a very broad concept. This is because it concerns everything you can do with data: collecting, recording, organising, storing, updating, altering, retrieving, consulting, using, forwarding, distributing, making available, combining, linking, blocking, erasing and destroying data.

What personal data does Robarcko use?

When you buy something from us for the first time, we always ask you for the following information: first name, last name and billing address, telephone number and an email address. We record this data in a file. In this way, you will not have to re-type it every time you place an order. And we can ensure that your order can be processed with all due care. You can view and change this data in “my data”. Your password is personal. We ask you to handle this confidentially and only for your own use.

When you visit the Robarcko website, data about you is also recorded by means of cookies. If required, permission will be requested.

How do we obtain your data?

We receive data directly from you, for example because you provide information through our website or because you want to use our services.

Legitimate grounds for processing and the purposes we use your personal data for

The personal data will be used for the performance of the purchase agreement or to make you a suitable offer. The processing is lawful because it is necessary for the performance of an agreement or because you have given permission for the processing. Processing may also be necessary for the protection of Robarcko’s legitimate interests, in particular for sales and marketing activities.

The aforementioned personal data will also be used to improve the content of our website and to tailor the content and layout of our pages to each individual visitor. This information is only used internally and will not be passed on to other organisations for commercial purposes.

Robarcko may use the personal data for new purposes not yet provided for in our privacy policy. In that case, we will contact you before using your data for these new purposes, to inform you of the changes to our regulations for the protection of personal data and to give you the opportunity to refuse your participation.

How does Robarcko take care of personal data?

Robarcko records as few personal data as possible, only the necessary information. Robarcko also takes the necessary technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against loss and unauthorised use, also in agreements with so-called (sub) processors, for example hosting parties. Examples of security measures are logical access security, management of authorisations, use of firewalls, and agreements with suppliers about information security.

Employees of Robarcko and any third parties who may have access to the data recorded by Robarcko are obliged to maintain the confidentiality of this information. Only authorised personnel may access and edit data. This is only permitted to the extent necessary for the proper performance of the work.

Retention periods

Robarcko does not retain your data longer than necessary for the purposes for which your data was obtained and is further processed, unless we are obliged by law to retain data for a longer period of time. For example, every entrepreneur is legally obliged to keep his records for seven years (retention obligation for tax purposes).

The retention period used by Robarcko may vary for each purpose and also depends on the nature of the data. At the end of the retention period, your personal data will in principle be deleted or anonymised in such a way that it can no longer be used and is no longer accessible. At the end of the retention period, we only use anonymised data for historical or statistical purposes.

Your rights: how can you access, modify or submit a complaint with regard to your personal data?

You can submit a request to us for access, rectification or erasure of the personal data we process with regard to you. But also if you have given Robarcko permission to process your personal data and wish to revoke this permission.

To do so, send a letter with a copy of a valid proof of identity to erwin@robarcko.nl. We strongly recommend that you render your BSN and passport photo on this copy illegible/unrecognisable. Robarcko will send you an overview or a response to the request as soon as possible, but within one month at the latest. Robarcko will always inform you with statement of reasons how the request is handled and what the outcome will be.

You can submit a complaint about the way in which Robarcko handles (your) personal data via erwin@robarcko.nl. Complaints received will be registered and you will receive a confirmation. You will receive a response to your complaint within 10 working days.

Provision of data to third parties

We only share data with third parties when necessary. Sometimes we have to share data, for example if it is necessary for Robarcko for the provision of its services, for support services, or if required by laws and regulations.

We use third parties, such as IT suppliers, for providing our services. Before providing such parties with the data, we make proper arrangements with them. They are obliged to protect the data and may only process it in accordance with our instructions.

Questions or comments
